Carlos Ruiz, owner of Faded Buddha and Master Barber has been in the hair and grooming industry for over 30 years.

Carlos mastered his craft in the industry which led him into educating and training individuals and groups that have also become talented in the business. He is known for his unique approach and innovative designs that showcase his talent within every customer experience.

In 2004, Carlos opened his first barber shop in Saint Petersburg, FL. His exceptional talent rose quickly within the community which led him to owning and operating an establishment of 15 barbers and hair stylists for the next 12 years.

Carlos continued to thrive in his profession and in 2019 expanded into western North Carolina region, introducing his new brand, Faded Buddha. The concept of Faded Buddha was created during unprecedented times, at a time where fear and uncertainties had taken a hold of us. Faded Buddha allowed guests to release any anxieties through the therapeutic environment and grooming services offered.
